The goals of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. High School counseling department are to prepare students for the world of work, provide career guidance and post-secondary information, conduct individual and group counseling, facilitate classroom guidance sessions, and serve the needs of the students, parents, staff, and the community.

When can parents and students meet with their child's counselor? In order to serve you best, it is highly recommended that you schedule an appointment with the assigned counselor. Please contact your counselor to schedule an appointment.
